A devotional practice of awareness of your body, breath & being
Personalised yoga experiences to meet you where you’re at and help you connect more deeply to your body and develop your love of yoga as a way of being- on and off the mat
I’m not the toe touching, headstand perfecting Yogi - I care more about cultivating presence and using Yogic tools to navigate real life.
-
I have been a student of yoga for over 20 years. Teaching for almodst 3 years.
My Yoga practice is rooted in the belief that yoga is not something we perform—it is a system of living that we can learn from and over time, we deepen our connection to Yoga and return to our practice over time.
I teach from the understanding that true living of yoga comes not from performing postures with intensity or goal orientated achievement, but from consistent devotion and ongoing understanding of, the 8 Limbs of Yoga as a pathway to understanding yourself, the universe and your place within it. Ancient teachings, timeless even now, in modern life.
Not devotion as obligation, but as a loving commitment to showing up for yourself again and again. In a world that often celebrates discipline through force and willpower, I am interested in a different path: devotion as discipline.
To me, devotion is the willingness to meet yourself exactly where you are, to listen deeply, and to keep returning to your practice with sincerity. It is the steady, compassionate act of tending to your body, your breath, your heart, and your inner life.
My teachers are many, I would like to acknowledge some of them here.
Janet Stone, Steve Ross, Phillip Ransom, Uma Neave, Lucy Jarvis, Gusti, Buddha
I deeply admire and respect these teachers, and many others, too many to name.
I am grateful to and learn something from every human that I practice yoga with.
